Photograph: Pont Des Arts, Paris

This is a view of the River Seine from the Pont des Arts, in Paris. The padlocks are part of a new trend, in which couples attach them to the bridge and then throw the key into the river below, which has been copied with other bridges all over Europe and across the world.
