Today is the anniversary of our first regular post on the Portsmouth Point blog. A year ago today we posted Julia Alsop's interesting piece on the Ancient Philosopher, Thales. So now I will use this anniversary to look back at how the blog has developed and grown over the past year.
One of the most interesting things about running a blog are statistics, most blog providers show you them and Blogger (our one) is no exception so here are interesting and sometimes bizarre highlights from the stats page:
At the time of writing the blog has had 74,396 pageviews. We have grown from having only 385 pageviews last February to 10,042 pageviews last month (see Figure 1)
